What is the best way to get started with online yoga practice?

Do you have any questions about yoga practice? Regardless of whether you have already or never practiced yoga, we look forward to welcoming you to our online or live classes.
 

  • Our classes are suitable for beginners and experienced yoga practitioners.
     

  • With our 3 trial subscription you can try out three yoga lessons.
     

  • Book your desired lesson in  Course schedule  in order to reserve your place.
     

  • Subscriptions and individual lessons can be purchased online with a credit card or by email on account.  You can find all subscriptions here.
     

  • If you have already bought a subscription, click on "reserve with subscription" when you register. Register with your user beforehand.

Registration and Setup

Registration for the online yoga lesson

  • Register in the course schedule  for the yoga class you want. Pay for the class you want based on your subscription or as an individual lesson.

    Please note: the registration deadline is 30 minutes before the start of the class.

Take your time and set yourself up well ...

Quiet environment & preparation

  • Create a quiet environment in which you will not be disturbed.
     

  • Prepare your space so that you have a mat on the floor and some space around it.
     

  • Tip: Have something to drink, a warm blanket and a sweat towel (for power yoga) close at hand.
     

Good visibility & volume

  • Place your screen (laptop or mobile phone) so that you can see the yoga teacher well, as well as the yoga teacher can see you well.
     

  • Join the meeting 5 to 10 minutes before the start of the lesson via the zoom link, which you will receive by email, with the loudspeaker, microphone and camera switched on.

Take a seat & tune in in silence

  • Make yourself comfortable lying or sitting on your yoga mat.
     

  • Tune in to the upcoming yoga lesson in silence and wait for the teacher to begin the class.

Zoom hints

  • You  you can zoom in on / highlight the yoga teacher - right mouse button on my picture and then select spotlight.
     

  • After the greeting, he / she will turn off the microphones of all participants and avoid interference.

General information for beginners

I am a beginner and have never done yoga. 

That is absolutely no problem. Our classes are open to all participants and are made up of students with years of yoga experience and those who have never practiced yoga. In yoga in particular, “the path is the goal” and therefore everyone is on the same “level” and only on the move with themselves.

I am quite immobile. Is yoga suitable for me at all?

Yes absolutely! The yoga practice offers you a unique opportunity to develop more flexibility and well-being in your body. It is just opening yoga exercises which create precious "space" in you to rediscover yourself.

Can I have something to eat before practicing yoga?

Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. Try not to eat anything until two hours before class. When you need to eat something, have a small, light meal.

Do i need a yoga mat?

It is highly recommended that you buy your own yoga mat for practice at home. The yoga mat
